Reprieve 2013

The film focuses on a family that suffers the tragic loss of a son and while the mother figure finds the mechanisms to begin to come to terms with the loss, the father does not cope at all. The father becomes increasingly more isolated from his family and friends and eventually loses his wife and family home. Realising that he has nothing left to lose, the father embarks on a radical form of therapy that pushes him beyond the realms of his own reality into a supernatural world of magic and wonder.
