On June 30, 1908 at 7:17 am, the biggest explosion documented to date in the history of mankind boomed worldwide. The force of the explosion was two thousand times greater than the Hiroshima bomb. He finished with a forest in the Siberian taiga the size of Luxembourg. History books collected this incident as the Tunguska catastrophe. To date, international scientists from various disciplines are still arguing about the causes of this disastrous explosion. We analyze recent and controversial findings of leading scientists. We identify the reasons why Tunguska has become a phenomenon and aim to curious results produced by this legendary event, both in culture and economy.
