A prisoner of war, doctor Bertram has just been repatriated .He learns that his fiancee was killed in a bombing.When he meets a young girl who is exactly like her ,he cannot believe his eyes.Her name is Hilda : Bertram's fiancee got married when he was reported missing and she is her own daughter.
