The two friends Heinz and Herbert are tired of their life. They are looking for comfort in the zoo and in the pub. It's about life, power, money. Then Heinz remembers the department store Mix-Wix, which offers 100.000 german mark to swimmers and non-swimmers for crossing the atlantic ocean. Herbert, the swim instructor, teaches his friend Heinz, the postman, how to swim. They meet another swim-instructor who just looks like Herbert's dead mother, and Alois, the fisherman, who is into producing toilet-paper. As with all Achternbusch films, this is one of the most intense and crazy chapters of german cinema.
