The engagement of Shahrbanoo and Shahram is postponed by the outbreak of the Iran-Iraq war. They both are physicians, and out of patriotism, they decide to volunteer to serve at the front. One day, Shahrbanoo goes missing and Shahram is heartbroken by the loss.
