本片通过一个孩子的视角来表现韩国战争的悲剧性，让观众感知那个年代无法言说的伤痛。主人公石头十岁了，居住在有南韩军队驻扎的休战线附近，石头常常在军人面前调皮捣蛋，对天真的石头来说他并不知道为什么会有休战线，又为什么会有驻扎的士兵。但是当战争的悲剧降临到石头身边，战争的伤痛，这个民族分裂的悲剧对石头来说又意味着什么呢？Tragedy of Korean War was unfolded through a boy's testimony. Although the boy saw and felt many things, he can not say anything. Dol-Yi, a 10-year-old-boy, was beloved as a mascot by soldiers when he lived near front. There was North Korean Army over the hill, it had nothing to do with him. But tragedy of the war came to Dol-Yi. What did he think about through the suffer from war and tragedy of the partition of the country?
