Get ready Australia, The Voice returns on Sunday May 24 at 7.00pm on Nine for a season unlike any other! For the very first time, each and every superstar Coach from the previous season is returning — and all bets are off. Delta Goodrem, Boy George, Kelly Rowland and Guy Sebastian are hungrier than ever to claim the winning Coach crown and aren't holding back on their mission to turn one highly talented Artist into The Voice of Australia. With a coveted recording contract with EMI Music and $100,000 in prize money up for grabs, this competition will be life-changing for one incredible winner. We'll also see a new hosting duo hit our screens in 2020, with familiar face Darren McMullen returning alongside newcomer Renee Bargh. Darren hosted the first four seasons of The Voice Australia (and The Voice Kids), while Aussie native Renee has spent the last decade in the US on Emmy Award-winning entertainment show EXTRA. As always, the talent is truly the star, with a line-up that includes a previous Australian Idol winner, as well as the youngest Artist to ever audition in the global history of The Voice. The 2020 season includes new format innovations, including the controversial Coach's Block. During the Blind Auditions, each Coach will be given two Blocks, which they can use to stop another Coach from pitching for an amazing voice they want to include on their team. With the competition between the Coaches already at fever pitch, the new twist is guaranteed to cause major drama. There will also be two new rounds this the season — The Playoffs and Showdowns, as the show flips up the status quo in the search for the ultimate talent Australia has to offer. Topped off by some of the most heartfelt and jaw-dropping artist performances ever, this season is set to be the biggest yet. The Voice Australia returns on Sunday May 24 at 7:00pm on Nine and 9Now.
