Weimar survived the fascist revolution, the communist revolution, and now it’s going through the revolution of 1989. Not everyone feels at home in the reunited Germany. The pace of change has brought frustration. The elderly are finding it difficult to come to grips with the new reality and the younger generation feel threatened by the commercialisation of life.
