Tresses

Set in Tangier, Morocco, a poor girl is raped by the son of a wealthy lawyer and aspiring politician. What follows is a story of " unpunished injustices, shame and fear, repression and power." After being raped, she is rendered mute. Her 13-year-old-brother is out for revenge.
