Dark Cloud was born on September 20, 1861 in St. Francis Indian Village, Quebec, Canada as Elijah Tahamont. He was an actor and writer, known for The Song of the Wildwood Flute (1910), The Son of the Dog (1915) and The Indian Trapper's Vindication (1915). He was married to Margaret Camp. He died on October 17, 1918 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
