Yan Frenkel was born on November 21, 1920 in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR as Yan Abramovich Frenkel. He was a composer, known for Novye priklyucheniya neulovimykh (1968), Korona Rossiyskoy Imperii, ili Snova Neulovimye (1971) and Belye rosy (1983). He died on August 25, 1989 in Riga, Latvian SSR, USSR.
