Vin Bogert，Vincent Bogert was born in Manhattan, New York on July 27th, 1914. He began writing for radio at an early age. He, and his best friend Larry (Lawrence) Marks (who later went on to become M*A*S*H's head writer) co-wrote their first published radio program, entitled "The Waterboy.
