伊拉姆·马丁内斯，Hiram was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He studied briefly at Saint Peter's College before dropping out to pursue a career in television editing. After years of working as a cable news editor, he wrote and directed the award-winning micro-budget comedy Four Dead Batteries (2005).
