Jason Overstreet and his two brothers, Eddie Jr. and Josh, were raised by their Texas born parents who met at Texas Tech University. His mother, Yuma, a writer, has also been an English/History teacher for over 30 years, and his father Eddie Sr., who passed away in 2008, was a cook and maintenance supervisor.
