Slim Gaillard，Composer, songwriter ("Flat Foot Floogie", "Tutti Frutti"), author, pianist and singer who began his career as "Slim", half of the Slim & Slam team with Slam Stewart, later forming his own group. Joining ASCAP in 1949, his chief musical collaborators included Bud Green, Harry Squires and Slam Stewart.
