Bethany McKinney，Bethany was born and raised in San Marcos, CA--a suburb of San Diego. She attended San Marcos High school and graduated in 1995 as Valedictorian. She then began schooling at UCLA in the fall of 1995, and majors in Philosophy and minors in Russian Language and Literature.
