Shanna Roberts Salée was born on December 5, 1987, in Montreal, Quebec. She grew up in Pointe-Claire and Kirkland, and went on to study at John Abbott College in Creative Arts and Theatre Production, and later at Concordia University, where she majored in Communication Studies in 2009.
