Nicholas Jay Preuitt was born and raised in Alabama. He got his first acting experience in local theater productions as a child. He started the process of filmmaking at a very young age, often recruiting the kids in his neighborhood to act in his numerous short films. He worked as an actor in both Nashville and Atlanta before moving to Los Angeles.
