Zal Yanovsky was born on December 19, 1944 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as Zalman Yanovsky. He was an actor and composer, known for The Big T.N.T. Show (1966), Heavy Metal (1981) and Message to Love: The Isle of Wight Festival (1997). He was married to Rose Richardson and Jackie Burroughs. He died on December 13, 2002 in Kingston, Ontario.
