Alec Pleon,Alec 'Funny Face' Pleon was one of the leading lights of British variety theaters from the 1930s to the 1970s. The son of a well-known music-hall act Daimler and Edie, he made his first stage appearance in 1923 at the Empire, Mile End Road in London's East End. His first West End appearance was at the Alhambra, Charing Cross Road.
